Winning Words Workshop on DVD

This DVD has been sent as a free resource to every TIE member school. The DVD comes with a Facilitator's Guide that explains how to use this workshop in three different settings:  full day, half day, or a series of late start or early release sessions.  This provides the flexibilty to incorporate the DVD workshop into an inservice day, an early release or late start, or use by individual staff members. Winning Words: Elementary, Middle School, and High School focuses on four important considerations:

• Why teach vocabulary?
• Which words do we teach?
• How do we teach vocabulary?
• What are some research based strategies we can use?
